How it Works

How does “Soot Buster” Work?

First and foremost we must dispel some of the misconceptions about what happens to Diesel Fuel.  A great number of people believe there are algae growing in their fuel tanks, this is simply not true.  Algae being a plant life will not grow in a fuel tank because there is no sunlight.  No sunlight = no algae.  It is true that there is a microbe or bug that can live in the water that can accumulate in fuel tank, and people believe he is algae and try to kill him through the use of bio-cides.  This microbe is too small to clog the filters and weather dead or alive if he is sucked into the fuel system he will be burned in the combustion chamber.  The boric salts or acids then absorb the water in the tank bottom and form more solids.  What are the blackish greenish solids that clogg the filters? It is fuel that is trying to revert back to its original form, crude oil (tars, paraffin’s, and asphaltines).

Diesel fuel is made from refined crude oil.  In the refining process the crude oil is heated and treated with chemicals that help break apart the long carbon chains.  These shorter chains are then passed into condensing units, which stratify into different levels of fuel.  One of those levels is diesel fuel.   Because fuel nowadays is so valuable additional chemicals are added which help to produce more diesel fuel from the crude oil.  Because of this process the fuels are very unstable and start to quickly revert back to their original form.  This process is known as the repolymerization of middle distillates, and can start as soon as 30 days after refinement.  In other words the fuel has already started forming solids long before the fuel is delivered to the retailer.  Obviously the closer the diesel fuel gets to reverting back into crude oil the worse it burns.  This improper combustion causes smoke, soot, high emissions, and loss of power.

The forces that hold the molecules together are Van der Waal forces that are weak bonds between the electrons of the molecules.  The motion of fuel through a magnetic field creates inductive energy that excites the electrons, which in turn breaks the molecular bond that has caused the clusters.  These clusters are broken down into smaller particles, which are too small to clog the filters.  The solution is Soot Buster magnetic cyclonification.  The end result is a much purer fuel now being introduced into the engine, which results in longer filter life, and better combustibility of the fuel.  This then reduces smoke, soot, emissions, and increases BTU’s resulting in more horse power or better fuel economy from 4% to 12%.  In addition there is less carbon deposits introduced into the oil resulting in longer oil life and less engine wear.

Soot Buster patented magnetic fuel conditioner works, and works well, guaranteed!
